TIRE INSPECTIONS

Maybe you have noticed rapid tire wear or an unpleasant driving symptom such as vibrations while driving? The ideal way to get to the bottom of tire problems and to know when it is time for replacement is with tire inspections. Tire inspections are performed by a certified MINI technician checking for rapid and uneven wear, measuring tread depth to assess remaining life and risk, and checking inflation.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING

Your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will eventually need inspected and maintained when the radio transmitters at each wheel assembly get damaged or send erroneous pressure readings. If a manual inflation check provides a different reading than the TPMS, it is time for a tire pressure monitoring system service.

ROTATION

Tire rotations are needed to offset the variable load-bearing profile at each wheel position. A certified MINI technician will remove the wheel assemblies, inspect all tires, and remount them to a different position according to MINIs tire rotation diagram.

PATCH REPAIRS

To fix minor tire punctures limited to a quarter of an inch across often caused by metal objects, we can repair this kind of tire damage using a patch repair protocol that plugs and seals the opening to secure safe travels at specifications. This repair protocol is approved by MINI and the U.S. tire manufacturers association.
