Total Mile Protection complements MINI factory coverage by adding extended protection for powertrain components after certain factory coverages expire. Which vehicles qualify for Total Mile Protection?Vehicles must not be previously titled or certified pre-owned (CPO). New MINI models must be purchased or leased from Bill Jacobs MINI on or after 9/5/2023 to qualify. Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) are excluded. Are electric vehicles included in the coverage?No. Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) are excluded from Total Mile Protection. When does my coverage begin?Coverage begins on the date you take delivery of your MINI. Time and mileage terms start at delivery, not at manufacture. Is there a deductible for warranty repairs?Yes. A $250 deductible per visit applies to repairs made under Total Mile Protection. Do I need to follow MINI maintenance requirements?Yes. Failure to follow required maintenance or the YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES section of the Limited Warranty may void coverage. Keeping service records is strongly recommended. Are wear items or routine maintenance covered?No. Wear items, fluids, filters, spark plugs, and other maintenance components are not covered under a powertrain warranty. What conditions may void or limit my warranty coverage?Coverage may be denied if issues result from inadequate maintenance, loss of coolant or lubrication, corrosion, neglect, contamination, modifications, or failure to follow warranty responsibilities.
