1. Plainfield Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony: The parade takes place on Monday, May 29th at 10:45am at Settler’s Park (24403 W. Lockport Street Plainfield, IL).
2. Naperville Riverwalk: The Naperville Riverwalk is a scenic pathway along the DuPage River, offering beautiful views and a serene atmosphere. Take a leisurely stroll with your family, enjoy the fresh air, and explore the gardens, bridges, and sculptures along the way. You can also rent paddleboats or kayaks to enjoy some time on the water.
3. Centennial Beach: This coming Memorial Day weekend is supposed to be a hot one. Beat the summer heat at Centennial Beach, a historic outdoor swimming facility located in Naperville. The beach offers a sand-bottomed swimming area, water slides, and diving boards, providing hours of fun for the whole family. Pack a picnic and spend the day enjoying the sun and water activities. Centennial Beach opens on Saturday, May 27th for the season.
4.  DuPage Children’s Museum: The DuPage Children’s Museum in Naperville is a hands-on, interactive museum designed to engage and educate children through play. With various exhibits and activities, children can explore science, math, art, and other subjects in a fun and engaging way. It’s a perfect destination for families with young children.
5. Summer of Drive Event at Bill Jacobs MINI: elebrate the start of summer on Saturday, May 27th with Bill Jacobs MINI & Chicago Game Truck.
