Meet some of the most smoochable pooches from West Suburban Humane Society during our K9s and Kisses event, taking place the Saturday before Valentine’s Day. Bring an item from the WSHS wish list below and be entered to win some fun prizes like restaurant gift cards, a dog toy basket, MINI swag, oil change vouchers, and more! Get a photo with some of the shelter dogs in the “Smooch Booth,” grab a goody bag, enjoy refreshments, test drive a new MINI or just stop by and see these kissable pups!
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 as a lost-and-found referral service. Over the next 10 years, as both demand and support for their services grew, WSHS was born, and began sheltering homeless animals by opening a small storefront shelter on Chicago’s west side along with three additional small satellite shelters in other townships. Today, WHSH has consolidated into one easily accessible and highly visible shelter and adoption facility, housing up to 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time.
