MINI Takes The States kicked off on July 9th in Altlanta, Georgia. This week, the parade of MINIS came rolling through Detroit, Michigan and St. Igance, Michigan, making their way towards Green Bay, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, Minnesota as their next stops.

At the Detroit stop this week, hundreds of people from around the country who share a passion for the brand enjoyed a variety of food trucks and live music.

It’s Not Just A Car, It’s a Culture

Patrick McKenna, head of product planning and aftersales for MINI USA said, “It’s gratifying as a company to see this level of pride in the vehicles and this much involvement. It’s more similar to Harley Davidson than it is to another car company. Maybe you have a Corvette following, maybe you have a Mustang following, but you don’t have something for an entire brand of this magnitude.”

“You can think it’s just a cliché or saying, but the MINI comes with a family. All these people here are having a great time,” Says Richard Davis, a MINI owner from Columbus, GA.
